Ken was your sister married to an American airman, they met each other at Burtonwood. I'm not too sure of their names now, but I seem to recall Winifred and Timothy?
Beautiful photo, worthy of being on a calendar. Has anyone ever thought of doing a WW calendar, enough wonderful photos to choose from. Anyway, makes me wish I was there..
Yes Cyril ,you are spot on,my sisters name was Winifred her Husbands name was Nicholas.Winifred Is now Deceased,am not sure about Nich ,he returned to America.I know of another Guy(Deceases) from Wigan who Worked at Burtonwood same time as Winifred.
Cyril their names was Zazal, the bloke who Winifred worked with at Burtonwood was named Joe,I stayed In the House he use to own In Swinley.
Hello Ken, I only knew Winifred & Nicholas through my frequent visits along Sennicar Lane when I worked at the council. I had many a cup of tea and a chat with them, and they could tell some fascinating tales. They were a marvellous couple.
