The billboard is the perch it's landing on. Advertising Cheshire Falconry where the bird is from.

I was tempted to take it out - but it's as an obvious captive bird I felt it gave the shot context.

There are lots of daytime flying owls Harry. You can usually tell by the colour of their eyes.

Yellow - daytime
Dark - nightime
Orange - dawn/dusk or daytime

My knowledge of falconry tells me that this is a tawny owl !!!!
