Found the site googling for any info about my Dad, William (Bill) Mawdsley. Dad is now 85 and lives in Derbyshire now but grew up in Bickershaw and lived at 48 Victoria Terrace. Both my Dad, his father, Jem (James) Mawdsley and his brother John played for Abram or Bickershaw Colliery Band. My grandmother Hannah. I think Hannah's maiden name was Platt and she came from Aspull Moor I think. Any info and/or memories would be much appreciated.
