Otters Croft Wood
Lovely photo Mick, you can just feel the stillness & a nip in the air.
The face in the tree trunk is watching.
Pareidolia.
You only have to walk a short distance off the beaten track to find a bit of peace and tranquility such as this. Very restful on the eye Mick.
Good one Mick, I've been hoping for these photos to appear for ages.
Keep um coming. Much nicer to look at than bricks and mortar.
Love it!
Peaceful and beautiful.
Lovely area thank you so much.
How lovely. Thank you Mick.
Paraphernalia.
A lovely photo, so calming and peaceful.

When people can “ see” or imagine they can see faces in trees.
We All are seeking answers
and Nature shows us how
in our silent moments
from then she moves to Now
We only have to watch her
and her jigsaw will appear
and our sense of understanding
will be close enough to hear …
It's a pleasant face though, and with the knobbly protruding schnoz has the look of Barney Bear: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/07/BarneyBear.jpg
