Bewildered
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-HX99)
All those rooms full of staff but no bobbies on the beat
Perhaps I had better pop along there Dennis, as I am totally bewildered with the modern world & it gets worse everyday !
Is there not a traditional Blue Lamp due to it being a modern building , Dennis, or is it just put of sight on the photo?
Did you know all these new police stations are owned by a private landlord.
The police force rent them.
Not two tiers but three .
Interesting photo Dennis.
Reminds one of the bewildered son of the king leaving on early release.
I don’t suppose the
‘ cells’ are very difficult to break out of. ( That’s if there are any!) it looks very welcoming for a Police Station.
They could squeeze some of the floating visitors to our shores on the top tier .. The police won’t mind guarding them they’ll be well looked after….most of all they would be warm. Warmer than some of us. Now that would be
‘bewildering’!
Did you know of the former Wigan rent collector, still reffered to as..... owd septic knuckles.
What is bewildering is that they relocated out in the sticks at Robin Park leaving town centre as a free for all for feral kids, drunks and druggies particularly in the evenings. A shocking experience for decent people.
Irene, the blue lamp is on top of the building behind the white car.
Someone has broken into there and taken all the toilets.
This morning detectives said, " At the moment we have nothing to go on."
Maybe he's nipping over to the loos at Costa packet coffee.
Irene, the Blue Lamp is on top of the glass tower with the blue roof, behind the tree, it's very similar in style to the police station at Bamfurlong - if that is still open.
PeterP, exactly, and if you phone about something, then more often than not they'll say it's a civil matter, they've no clout these days.
Thankyou JMH and Cyril....I am so glad they still have the blue lamp. 'Evening All!
