Nice photo. The colours give a "chill" to it, and a sense of stillness. Caught at a perfect moment and very atmospheric.

That is a lovely photo Mick, a rosy sunset to end the day.

Nature taking over mans neglect

You could say this is Wigan’s Trade Mark, a Music Hall joke now a tourist attraction.
Well composed photo Mick and perfect timing with the sunset reflecting on the still water.

What a heavenly sight when the sun says
“Goodnight!”

John, if you are cycling past tree that mind that you don’t get grabbed by the Gargoyles. Could be very painful!!!

Didn't Wigan Pier run over the low ground between Union Bridge and the canal?

Ticsmon, you're right, the 'real' Wigan Pier was off Miry Lane junction with Prescott Street.
