Sunset
Well Mick, that is beautiful, absolutely stunning!
Good photo Mick we will be riding along there possibly shortly and also along the Plantation path that Colin posted yesterday take it easy.
Nice photo. The colours give a "chill" to it, and a sense of stillness. Caught at a perfect moment and very atmospheric.
That is a lovely photo Mick, a rosy sunset to end the day.
Nature taking over mans neglect
You could say this is Wigan’s Trade Mark, a Music Hall joke now a tourist attraction.
Well composed photo Mick and perfect timing with the sunset reflecting on the still water.
Beautiful Mick. One of those gone in an instant moments perfectly caught. Thank you.
What a heavenly sight when the sun says
“Goodnight!”
John, if you are cycling past tree that mind that you don’t get grabbed by the Gargoyles. Could be very painful!!!
Didn't Wigan Pier run over the low ground between Union Bridge and the canal?
Colin we did a different adventure today under the Mersey Gateway,Sankey Valley etc,Mick I believe you called at Paul’s bike shop the other day pity you didn’t join us today a great 50mile ride.
Ticsmon, you're right, the 'real' Wigan Pier was off Miry Lane junction with Prescott Street.
