Scarecrow?
He's definitely in the wrong job.
St John's Church, Hindley.

Is that my old mate Trevor from St.Johns? A long time since I saw him in the choir!!
That’s definitely a cute scarecrow full of character and dressed for the weather. In fact he looks a bit tipsy….Have they started having Scarecrow Festivals in Hindley?
What a happy chappie! He looks like he's welcoming the crows with his open arms and big smile, rather than scaring them. He's lovely!
It could be a fashion student going to Wigan & Leigh College or perhaps even Xandra Rhodes doing her shopping in Hindley.
The most sinister scarecrow was the one in 'Pimpernel Smith ' , when it turned it's head to watch the POWs working in the field . Stout fellow too who never flinched when the guard shot him .
Brilliant I love it.
Is it tom plums front garden?
I watched that film this afternoon Poet. It was very good for 1940.
The Scarecrow was grisly to say the least.
A very ‘terribly, terribly’ English film for that time.
I bet this was made by Helen Pye,a staunch supporter and valued member of this church. She is a very artistic lady and works tirelessly for the community.x
Get the crow man in.
