Barney Enjoying a Swing
Beautiful woodland scene John and Barney is certainly enjoying himself.
Not been to Borsdane Wood for many years, it was our favourite place as kids, we had some great childhood times in there, safe times.
Decent dog in one of the finest locations in the UK.
Thanks, John.
So that’s what you get up to Barney when my back is turned, you two timing rascal.
John, this reminds me of times I had in Borsdane Wood with my son and later my eldest grandson. We used to take rope in and make swings like this usually on a slope over the brook.
Oh, he's gorgeous! Hello Barney! We had three dogs who always had to have a stick which was far too big for them and protruded out of their mouth either side. One day our Merlin ran past me and caught my leg with the stick and I fell and ended up in Casualty. We were going to see The Houghton Weavers that night, and the price included a hot-pot supper....we ended up giving the tickets to our neighbour! Our dogs used to love going to Borsdane Wood and Viridor Wood.
How lovely to see a happy dog enjoying life John…it’s a treat to see.
A lovely little dog having fun. It doesn’t take much to please our furry friends. It still looks like Autumn in Borsdane Woods. Thank you John, hopefully it’s on the border of Howfen and Hindley?.;o)
