Green
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-HX99)
Nice autumnal scene with the leaves just starting to fall. In a few weeks time the trees will be bare and then the ground will be littered with leaves. Do they get swept up or left has a natural mulch for the trees and plants which will be dormant at this time of year.
Lovely photo Dennis. Sunlight through leaves is a beautiful sight, especially when it throws dappled shadows on the path beneath.
Ps I have planted loads of bulbs in tubs and they are sprouting already…probably won’t get any flowers in Spring!
A beautiful photo Dennis, thank you. I wonder how many shades of green there are. Veronica, I've just cut back all the foliage on the peonies and there's about an inch of new growth already. Climate change appears to be affecting the plants as well!
Looks like my original post hasn’t come through. Just to say the photo looks more Spring like than Autumnal. Must be the mild wet climate.
Love the title as well as the photo Dennis a good play on words....the grey tarmac & the green leaves.
Here the leaves are still hanging on in there but a bit battered & bruised by the rain & winds.
Certainly different from where I am Dennis, the leaves are just a big mush on the floor due to all the rain.
I believe it’s 40shades of green in dear oul’. Ireland Pat.
Excellent photo, snow on its way next.
40 Shades of green and 50 Shades of grey. A beautifully coloured photo with two colours.
