Bottling Wood
Dennis, pat yourself on the back for this shot, it’s absolutely beautiful…I love it.
Nice view of a babbling brook and the start of autumnal colour. The path seems has though it would soon turn muddy and boots /wellies are required
Autumn already, soon be winter.
It looks like I'm walking through the woods.
Another belter Dennis.
Lovely Autumnal photo Dennis; it reminds me of a difficult jigsaw puzzle. Does the wood lead into the plantations? I'm a bit lost as to its location.
Lovely pic,great colours.x
It's near to the Haigh Sough Irene.
Thankyou Neil.
You've been busy being out and about Dennis, did you happen to see Mick riding around in there? it's strange that he hasn't sent in any photos of his rides lately, though in one of his last posts he mentioned about getting a mobility scooter, so he may have gone and joined the Scooter Set over in Benidorm.
The leaves seem a bit late this year for dropping..they look quite fresh. The soil must be very rich mixed in with all the lovely dried leaves.
Nice one Dennis.
The middle of October for mine John which is an improvement on December which they originally gave me at Park Rd. I think they have too many on their books these days. It’s a nightmare getting appointments.
I have never seen Mick close up Cyril, so I probably wouldn’t know him if I saw him.
I do miss his photos and comments though despite being controversial at times. I wonder if he has been hospitalised or something?
Oops! Wrong day for the last comment - should be on yesterday’s page.
Veronica it's because the weather is very mild. When the cold weather arrives the leaves will drop, that's for sure.
You are correct Veronica I thought it would be easier as they very often have Saturday as their day for jabs at Park Road and if it’s raining and the queues are enormous and most embarrassing watching less able people struggling to walk to the end of the queue. There’s a chemist on Chorley New Road Horwich doing the latest COVID jabs while U wait also, but as I was typing this Peter house just been in touch about the COVID jab.
Yes I thought it was the mild weather Alan it’s unseasonal. At least we are saving on gas!
It just gets worse there on Park Rd John.
Dennis, I don't know if you saw the tongue in cheek comment that Sir Bob posted about Mick resembling Mr Pastry riding a bike, so if you've seen someone like that it would probably have been Mick. Though if he had seen you anywhere with a camera then knowing Mick he would have stopped and had a chat. I haven't heard of him being in hospital, though he could have gone away somewhere with him not having put his 'aporth worth in the comments.
