I wonder where the name of the boat, "Mollies Memento" originated? Perhaps in memory of someone? Nice photo.
An interesting photo. I expect membership is only open to the enthusiasts who own their own boats ( no rentals!) . It looks a healthy sport but probably expensive. I wonder who Molly was if the boat is a ‘memento’. Good one from you Harry-as usual.

If the boat is a memento of Molly it should say
"Molly's Memento". It might be a memento of several Mollies, which are fish.
I’ll have a bag of chips and a lightly battered Mollie please. Never heard of fish called Mollies!

Which is better for battering, a Mollie, Cod or Haddock? here we go then, Brucie slapping Cleesie across the face with a Mollie, however, he's shocked when Cleesie retaliates by pulling out a large Cod, he then slaps Brucie so hard across the face it knocks him off the harbour wall - Brucie well and truly battered by Cod, and he's now got a right Haddache:

Nice pleasant photo Harry, no ducks though, there were plenty ducks on the flash at onetime, and they must have got used to all the boats sailing around as they were never bothered by them.
