OMG!
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-WX500)
When I first looked at that, I thought I was looking into a mirror !
Dennis,it was only yesterday that I stood in the Arcade looking at him..he gives you the creeps doesn't he.
Peeping through the hole in the boards my reaction was just the same. I have to say by the look on his face he’s tread on some dog poo or something similar. Ugh!
He, and what looks like a pile of intestines or brains by the side of him, have totally put me off my breakfast!
Sorry I don't follow this, a bit silly if you ask me.
Dennis you're better than this.
Not sure what to make of this, but what would he look like if he saw Wigan Town from the 1960s and saw the destruction today.
I saw the demolition for the first time yesterday from a point near the the Market Tavern on Mesnes St. . Utterly shocking . It looked like a set from the Battle of Stalingrad .
I'd heard the town was in a mess but l never imagined it was so bad .
That mask looks a bit like a cross between Denis Law and the Professer in Back to the Future .
He looks like he goes to the same hairdresser as Boris Johnson!
Poet,I watched some of the destruction from the very same spot on Friday..I felt very sad..I don't care what they build in their place..Wigan town centre will never be the same again..it's soul has been ripped out.
Hi Dave, funnily enough i saw it from exactly the same place yesterday what a shameful waste of money.
From the comments so far it looks like this fella is not the only one with a horrified look on his face after viewing the destruction of the Galleries, and that was the point I was trying to make.
The centre is like a nightmare you can’t wake up from . As if you’ve lost your way in a dream. I suppose we had the best of times and when we’ve gone what we had will be forgotten. ( Apart from old photos where we re live it briefly!)
OMG! I was stood in the very same spot on Friday has well, if only you had turned around Mo.
Can't wait for the new building and seeing my daughter and grandchildren move into her new apartment.
Tell your daughter not to buy a car Sally, she will have nowhere to park it.
Yet another 'alias'! .....fooling nobody.
No need for a car, they have cycles, and the children can walk to school and my daughter can cycle or walk to her job at the hospital.
Are there a lot of cyclists in your family “Sally”? Will they have enough room for bikes given the tiny flats they build these days?
Does “Sally” ride Sally ride herself?
The new cycle lanes around Wigan will come in very handy
They won't be happy if it's on the 20th floor of one of the proposed new multi-stories they end up.
