A Rainy Day in Wigan
You wouldn’t do it for jollies would you?
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-WX500)
It’s Simon running to Heinz. Must be on overtime again!!
I pity the dog walkers who have to go out in the rain. The joggers are not bothered about a bit of rain it would cool them down during their run and they only get wet once.
Morning Dennis, my son does whatever the weather he’s training for the London marathon again this year raising funds for LFRS.
No I wouldn't Dennis !
At first glance the red against the grey background reminded of the film ' Shindler's List ' where the little girl in a red coat stood out from the same background.
Better than if it were icy underfoot....some of those streets around there slope so steeply they must be treacherous in ice or snow. But they must have been a dream for kids with home-made trolleys in our childhood!
Jogging UP Birkett Bank would be a big task though.
I remember when it was cobbles on the slope. They’ll still be there underneath. Not that long ago either….there’s old photos in Album showing children tobogganing down there. We used to do the same on Belvoir St.
Maybe it wasn't raining when he started.
Don't have the time to jog, I'm quite fit anyway.
You can see the raindrops on the bus window. Not my cup of tea jogging.
Here's one photo Veronica, I suppose Keith drew the shortest straw so got to be the test pilot, he says he stopped short of whizzing over the bottom of Hardybutts - thankfully.

Good photo Dennis, it's like the pigeons flying, you would have to be quick, with the camera.
Yes that’s the one Cyril. There’s quite a few of the brew.
