Over the garden wall
Photo: David Long (iPhone)
Yes the Spring flowers have arrived and they are wondering if they’ve come to the right place…it feels like the Arctic it’s that cold brrrr.
What a lovely view of Spring flowers. They are a real herald of the end of Winter, although, as Veronica says, you wouldn't know it at the moment! The title "Over The Garden Wall" reminds me of an old radio programme of the same name that my Mam used to talk about , which starred a man called Norman Evans who did a kind of "Cissie and Ada", (Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough), supposedly gossiping with a neighbour "over the garden wall".
Norman Evans was the best Irene he was the original. I could die laughing at him and Ol’ Mother Riley! I think I will look on ytube for Norman Evans I had forgotten all about him!
Ps he was on the telly Irene all in glorious Black and White.
The eagle eyed amongst you will notice Beech Lodge in the background of this photo, that was on Photo-a-Day Monday, 27th February.
I have photographed this and beech lodge many many times
Stan Bowl I've a mate Brad Dish and his brother Stan knows you and says you live at Roach Green Whelley and your nickname is Fish.
A Host of Golden Daffodils ( & obviously other spring flowers as well ) came into my head when I saw this over the garden wall image.
Will be a lovely sight in a few weeks time.
Love it Rev David, all we want now is the Weather to improve.
A scene like this just me feel good.

This is lovely David, it lifts the spirit, after such a horrible day.
