Eat Free

They do have a good children's menu Dennis .
Always wary of a sign that states Children Eat Free....children being allowed the freedom to behave as they please wherever they are.
Its ok I'm Grumpy Old Woman this morning but the sun is shining & no doubt my mind will improve as the day progresses. Looks a nice place Dennis but I dont fancy children for lunch today.
It's many years since I've been to The Owls but I remember it being a nice place to eat. It's quite picturesque and seems to be doing well with the amount of cars there, which is good to see in this age of places closing down left , right and centre. I imagine the "Kids Eat Free" will be subject to conditions. (I certainly hope you HAVE read the sign wrong, Dennis!!),
They do good Babby's Yed and chips .
I remember going here a few years ago with our Art Group. We painted in the lovely grounds around the back. Some painted the building from various aspects, me and my friend ‘Kylie’ wondered round and round because we couldn’t make our minds up what to do! We settled on painting an old tree - by that time lunch was ready! It was very nice..there was some good work produced by some…I still have that tree painting somewhere…a very memorable day! The food was good too..
I hope they're well done Poet, I don't like them underdone.
I couldn't eat a whole one unless it had been thoroughly roasted.
"Kids eat free," no such meaning, to cover that, the price goes on the adult meals. I've never been in there.
Also I think it’s so they’ll get a generous tip … they must break even. In fact it’s probably a better deal and they would get more people going in.
