NHS Bench
NHS usually means National Health Service.
If you sit on the bench will you be cured ?
Made by Jake the Upholland blacksmith. He has done excellent work for me
Nice to remember the NHS. On the practical side i would have thought the bottom straps on the legs could have been slightly higher. This could of stopped leaves and litter getting stuck under the bench . In the long run would extend the life of the bench less chance of rusting away.
Lovely bench and a great health centre, general opinion seems to be though that the chemist isn't the best and that the small one near the lights is far superior
Takes me back to the pandemic when lots of hand painted coloured stones were placed on benches everywhere .
( I had a routine back then which involved doing shopping late in the evening to avoid crowds . I remember waiting until the end of that Bob Ross painting show before donning mask and popping off to Lidl at about 9 p.m. . , grim faced and not speaking to anyone .
They repeated that show again the other night and the emotion of the sad time came flooding back in an unbelievably powerful way ).
If World War 3 breaks out they'll take that bench to make a tank with.
Plus all the railings around towns and old pots and pans..
Fat lot of good though if Ras Putin presses the button.
T, it isn't just the customers who think that way either, employees also don't think the pharmacy company to be the best. Have a read of their comments: https://uk.indeed.com/cmp/Cohens-Chemist/reviews
