Buddah
Photo: Mick Byrne (Panasonic DMC-TZ100)
Mick, you know Ive never noticed the Buddha before.
Belated Christmas wishes to one and all on Wiganworld. Unfortunately spent all Christmas in A & E as my lovely husband was taken ill - yes, everything you hear on the news is right - staff run ragged and doing a stirling job in the face of chaos. Christmas angels in nursing uniforms. Nadolig llawen a blwyddyn newydd Dda everyone. X
I am so sorry to hear of your troubles Pat. I sincerely hope your Beloved will recuperate quickly and be home very soon in the arms of his family. xx
Hope your husband is soon well again. Pat. xx
Pat Speedy recovery to your dear husband
Pat,prayers will be said tonight for your hubby, and hopefully regain full health.xxx
Another great photo Mick,by the time we get through that barrier which can prove to be awkward we have a butty and a drink on one of the two forms just missing to the right of photo when heading to Parbold windmill.
Hoping your husband gets well soon Pat.
Rwy'n gobeithio y bydd eich gwr yn gwella'n fuan Pat.
Thank you very much to you all - sorry for distracting from the photo - apparently the percentage of Christians in the UK has dropped again in the last ten years, so we'll probably see more symbols and statues from other religions as we become a more integrated community.
The only Budda I believe in, and you won't find a Betta Budda.
Diolch yn fawr i chi Roy.
Is it Appley Bridge or Parbold?
Prayers for you and hubby Pat Take care. Nice photo.
Bliadhna Mhath Ùr, to you Jock.
thanks Paddy, Athbhliain faoi mhaise duit, to you also.
It is Appley Bridge PeterP looking to Shevington in the background from Appley Lane bridge.
Wm I have got my bearings now. The photo is the bottom of the gardens to the old terraced houses and just out of shot on the left is the boathouse pub
