Deer
Beautiful We have thousands of them over here; all equally gorgeous.
That's a good photo David, was you creeping around to take their photo - one seems to have spotted you.
Another good photo. In close up you can almost feel their velvet softness.
Lovely
Well done David, the new mirror art installation is working well, I tried to capture things in it but so far Ive not been successful
A proper pair of sentries . Always alert . One looks one way , the other another . And those radar ears . Really good photo .
Beautiful but very elusive creatures, have seen a couple in the field behind where I live but didn't manage to get a photo.
Very true Elizabeth, usually early morning and dusk they are seen, always close to cover. However since sheep are now grazing, not seen any. Do the two not mix well.
Lovely photo, well captured. The dear little deers, look a little bit apprehensive.
The keeper did a hunting go
Under his cloak he carried a bow
All for to shoot, a merry little doe
Among the leaves so green, oh
I remember this song from infants school many years ago.
I bet they don’t sing it now!
Veronica they don't want to end up on some ones dinner plate. We see a herd along Lees Lane (Parbold).Very good photo the deer normally don't hang around long enough to allow you to take a photo of them,
I see deer almost daily. They are on the local golf course as are lots of Canadian geese, a few pheasants and coyotes. Occasionally I see the local bald headed eagles.
Alan on vancouver Island, why mention where your from?
Great photo David.
Why state you are from Hindley?
Ha Ha I knew someone would bite.
Just to show that I am not Alan from Hindley.
Alan, dont worry , its nice that you view WW from Vancouver Island & show an interest in the place you came from. I too, look at WW though I left Wigan at the age of 13 yrs....its still part of my history & my interest. Also I have visited Vancouver & know what a nice city it is & our local big town of Kings Lynne has a great interest in the sailor who came to the East Anglian port that bears his name on the docks.
What a beautiful photo David, and right on our doorstep.
