How do you go on for mail or registering with a bank for money/pensions if you live on a boat all year long but move from place to place????

That lamp shade brings back memories for me, I remember we only had two chairs to sit on in our parlour so I used to sit under our big lamp as we called it and day dreamed that I was sitting under the moon.
The specks of floating dust that I could see would be stars to me.

The boat looks like it’s getting ready to celebrate the Jubilee with its red, white and blue…. Even the ropes are the same colour… very neat and tidy, flummoxed about the lamp though.

Eleanor Rigby lived for 44 years at Woolton, dying in 1939, I very much doubt she was in anyway like the woman in the song as the Beatles never even knew her, apart from her grave. Here it is and info about the song.

I looked at the grave and story Cyril. Fancy someone paying for the deeds to the grave just because of the name in a Beatle’s song, which was just plucked out of the air. At least her name won’t be forgotten, even if she is.

It did seem a tad creepy didn't it Veronica, though even with the auctioneers high expectations of fierce bidding from around the world for the grave deeds they didn't sell, not even for the £2,000 reserve price.

Nice imagination Alice, remembering childhood, I remember gazing into an open fire, daydreaming, and seeing all kinds of images in the flames.Especially on cold winter nights, then getting the butties out,and the toasting fork It's funny how one comment on a photo can set the mind rambling. Nice photo.
