Bloomin' Early
When I drive through Aspull and see these daffs I always think of Owd Ron.
First sign of hope , Spring is on the way despite the storms of yesterday.
Beautiful pic Dennis,thanks.
Lovely photo. I love daffs and Aspull always looks particularly lovely in Spring.
Was in Wigan recently and saw lots of crocuses and snowdrops. Lovely to see. Will be May at the earliest before anything blooms back home.
Fine photo, Dennis.
Broady, snowdrops in my garden too - in the NE and on the coast. When they appeared thought I'd overdone the whisky nightcap the evening before!
I didn't know you'd been back to Wigan, Broady. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
Dennis: A brilliant masterclass in how to take a photo, crisp, neat, and good focus, nice one Dennis.
And looks like more to come. Will be a pretty sight then.
Nice one Dennis , even Wall Hey in the frame excellent.
Good video here ,tells you about the furnace chimney .

Golden angels dawn their heads,
Strewn crisp guardians lie down dead,
Seasons tenure now vacate ,to wind blown landlord’s proud lost fate .
Proudly smiling the fresh new fawn ,
Welcomes sunshine to a brand new morn..
Nice photo Dennis.
e, just love your verses.
I remember Dr Johnson's Greenough St. It was like walking in a Cloggers with benches round each wall. Dark and dismal. .
