Photo-a-Day (Saturday, 22nd January, 2022)
First Light
Another beautiful scene.
Well done Poet.
Love this great winter shot, nice one Poet.
The trees are the stars of this composition for me. I like the shapes of the bare trees and the ones in the distance - lovely in watercolour. Nicer still with a dusting of snow. Really good photo.
As Alan says, another good one Poet.
Despite the trees & grasses it looks bleak & cold.
That's lovely, Poet. So peaceful. That's another scene I'l kike to see taken in Summer and shown side-by-side with the Winter one.
Poet, I love it and thank you.
If you love photos like this so much, get your jackets and shoes on and get out there in the fresh air, it will do you good.
Lovely photo. I remember when there were more places like this in Standish before the builders moved in.
It’s a bit of a boring picture. I ride past there plenty times on my bike on my way back to Shevington.
Now, now Mick !
The jealousy from Mick is tangible, lol.
Nice photo Poet.
Mick wasn't anywhere near a computer on the 22nd January 2022 at 12:25.
No he was up St James in Poolstock Bell Tower watching the bell ringers learning the ropes, then later on he was up near to Top Lock videoing a Roe Deer
PS before that I was watching Gillingham footballers arriving at the DW stadium
Whoever comes on here pretending to be Mick is a coward. The real Mick contributes a lot of time and effort to PAD
Poet: You have turned out to be a natural Artist.
It just comes to you with ease. Think about it Poet, you could make money doing this.
I agree John G there's something different about Poet's photos - he has a style of his own, even the colours are muted and almost like a limited palette of colour. Much the same way an artist would use limited colours in a painting.
Well done poet, lovely photo, keep them coming.
Thank you friends for your kind and totally inspiring comments .
