Those three swans were after some
stale bread that I had in my pocket on
boxing day in the morning yes those three
swans just wanted the stale bread that I had

I should have mentioned I recognize the three cygnets from my dog walks
Never ugly ducklings - they're such beautiful birds. A lovely photo Mick. A belated happy Christmas to all on PAD. Often wished I could see the faces of people who post, but it's lovely to feel a part of PAD even though I no longer live in Wigan.
I agree Pat there's nothing ugly about those birds. Ok they may not be prima ballerinas just yet but give them a few weeks and they will be the starring roles in Swan Lake.
I have always loved the song 'The ugly duckling' sung by Danny Kaye..it says it all...they really are beautiful birds.
Wasn't there a song once called the three ugly ducklings, it was about 3 baby swans who still had tatty feathers.
