Turn round Mick, it’s behind you.

Although I hate to admit it, Mick is right for once in his life.
The first two houses on the left are numbers 17 and 19 Parsons Walk and the left hand bend warning sign is on the pavement between numbers 21 and 23 Parsons Walk.

Another Google street view type photo. Hopefully we can have some stunning local Autumn landscapes soon.

DEFINATELEY Parsons Walk, as i said on Thursdays p-a-d, Park Road begins at Park Crescent which is just around the bend beyond where the lorry is.

Comment by: Anne on 2nd October 2021 at 12:20

All you need to do is look on google street view. The first two houses after Park Crescent say 5&6 Park Road in their fan light. The houses before Park Crescent must be 1 to 4.

This is not a good photo, the composition and clarity are awful.

Comment by: Mick on 2nd October 2021 at 13:08

Looks OK to me Phil.

Number 17 Parsons Walk is where Bob Yates lived and is also the one Sir Ian McKellen and family resided when they moved from Burnley and before they moved to Bolton. There's a photo by Frank Orrell on the Album of Sir Ian talking to Bob in his kitchen whilst imbibing in tea and cake watched by his bemused Boxer dog: https://www.wiganworld.co.uk/album/photo.php?opt=6&id=29844&gallery=Ian+McKellen&page=1
