Summer
Why does bright open hearts,
lift our spirits higher,
For a moment a cheer is brought
to push our fears away ,
In that moment we escape,
into hands of Nature,
and thus reveal its inner most,
and its treasured place..
Lovely photo of Summer in Shevington but it looks oddly like Summer in Abram or Aspull or Haigh or even my beloved Yorkshire. Is that your house we can see, Mick?
I love this photo, Ive been trying to count the bees on the flowers.
I used to love going out for country drives when my husband was still with us and buying local honey and jams.
Joan we also like to buy locally produce produce when we are out and about.
Our Shevington organic honey is available in the cafe and deli.
I doubt if Shevington honey will be organic. There are too many rules to state here for honey to be allowed to be termed “Organic”. For example, the hive cannot be within a 3 mile radius of an A road. Bees forage up to 3 miles which means the honey cannot contain petrol or diesel pollutants. Many other rules just as bizarre. This is why supermarket honey is sometimes termed raw honey but not organic.
