Another good one Mick, 2 of my favourite things...canals & narrow boats.
2 good canal museums to visit, the one at Stoke Bruerne & the other at Ellesmere Port, brilliant.
I have just read what these good people do.
They ' come alongside' to boaters in need and give assistance. They also do emergency repairs to boats and lend a 'listening ear to those who are personally challenged'..
I didn't know there were people who volunteered for this work from local churches. They don't 'push' religion they are there to just help those who need it on the rivers and canals.
It looks as if they need help with a bit of painting on their boat.
