Blimey, I thought the Crawford Arms was Red Rrock. Good selection of photos Dennis.

Myself, I'd call this the Bleachworks, not Red Rock.

Fine ensemble , all within a short distance of each other.

The postbox, which hails from Victoria's reign, is embedded in the walls of what was the Crawford Arms. Good capture Dennis.

The only photo on here that i know to be 'in' Red Rock is the post box, most of them are in Standish / Worthington. The Go Local shop / post office is Worthington Post Office, 203 Chorley Road, Standish. Across the road from the remaining facade of the Bleachworks is Standish bridge which carries the road over Bradley Brook. At least 5 of the photos are on Chorley Road, Standish.

The mileage marker, top right can also be seen in situ bottom left. There was one similar on Boars Head bridge but unfortunately it went walkies during the first lockdown. Coincidentally, the Boars Head pub across the road were relieved of their patio heaters around the same time !

Didn't recognise it Joe, it's a long time since i was on there. Thank you John didn't need much spotting really.

WN1 Standisher, when driving past the Boars Head bridge a few years ago two men was digging up that milemarker, I alerted the Highways Dept that it may be being stolen, but they knew about it and it was being taken away for renovation and a few weeks later was reinstalled. I have driven past since the lockdown but haven't noticed it was missing.
