Just short of a few ducks

Yes I have to say that is a good one ... it looks professional.... even without the ducks.

Did the ducks see you coming Mick?

A very atmospheric photo. I can just imagine browsing in a book shop and seeing it on the front cover of a Mystery story.

In 2011 a young couple from Roby Mill, Ian and Gemma Redmond got married at St Michael and All Angels Church, 10 days later Ian was buried in the grave yard after being killed by a shark while on Honeymoon in the Seychelles

I was just going to ask which church was this, then I saw your comment Mick.I remember reading about the young couple in the Daily Mail. That was so tragic. I didn't realise it was so long ago.

Lovely photo Mick. I love the reflection in the pond and the eeriness of the trees. Thanks.

Not many comments on this picture Mick, is it because its not on a bus route.
Interesting to read about the man getting killed in a shark attack, I remember it happening but didn't know he was buried in this graveyard

When I see ponds,
I think frog spawn and newts,
Summer days of childhood ,
and my soggy wellie boots,
Long days of Summer,
that never seemed to end
just running with adventure ,
the free wind a loving friend,
even in the darkness,
the velvet summer breeze,
nothing seemed to matter,
and I gulped it all with ease..
