Boutique X Colette

This pandemic is talking it's toll with very many shops and stores in Wigan and indeed around the country. This Coronavirus has taken a devastating affect to all businesses not just shop but everything and it's far from over.
Every shop is under enormous pressure with the pandemic sweeping across the Country/World, these are very trying times and feel very sorry for small businesses.
A smart looking shop. I have noticed where I live small clothes shops like these, though closed, have their window displays changed quite regularly.....do the elves come secretly in the wee small hours ?!
Here is the lovely Colette on YouTube telling all you Wigan ladies how important it is to shop in Wigan town centre

This shop looks lovely, love the flower decoration, let's just hope it can stay open after the pandemic.
It's a lovely shop and a very pleasant owner.
I have bought a few items from there in the past. The window display is lovely. A very nice pleasant photo too. Cheered me up no end.
It is a lovely shop/ boutique with a well dressed window. It's just a pity that the saying " all dressed up and nowhere to go'' comes to mind! Last year's new clothes still hang forlornly in the wardrobe...this summer's holiday is still a question mark...
This type of shop is ok for what it sells but how many smart outfits does a person need. They look to be dressy/special occasions stuff. Once bought, outfits can be used time and again, especially for cruising, as my friends and self have realised.
What a lovely, cheerful window display, I used to fancy being a window-dresser. Makes me look back to the late 1960s with all those flowers, when we had clothes shops in Wigan.....Paige's, Van Allen's, Lewis's Separates, (which became Chelsea Girl), and even Chelsea Freak! I never had much money to spend but loved having a mooch round.
From outdoor bogs to wimmin's togs, nothing escapes Mick's all-seeing eye.
DTease: You can’t blame him for that, from the two options women's togs are more preferable.
A Yorkshireman who put the Lancashire town of Wigan on the world map.
Did the Yorkshire man frequent the Boutique X
Mick. I wonder what he purchased ...silk stockings, lacy negligee..... Oooh!
I believe in America , gentlemen are known to wear suspenders .
Mick! you've let me down! there was I praising your all-seeing eye and then you put your comment on the wrong page! good grief!
Damn colonials sirrah! Suspenders? Suspenders !!?
I’ve been told that the Aussies are now eating frozen chips with their fish!! Total lack of standards sirrah! Total lack of standards! The old Queen would never have put up with it don’t yer know?
