Robin
Beautiful bird. We have one flirting around the garden and it is never still long enough to take its photo.Well spotted David
What a lovely picture on a cold and frosty morning..
A sight for sore eyes...thank you David,
How beautiful. He looks so intelligent. I love robins.
Always nice to see Billy Bobbin. Nice shot David.
Do you know why we call then Robin Redbreast when they're quite clearly orange? Well I'll tell you. Red was used to describe a range of shades before the term orange was widespread. The term orange came from the fruit - which came later.
Brilliant shot Dave, thank you. You can even see each feather on this pretty bird. He/she appears to be watching you!
good photo dave
Picture perfect, well done David.
If I had been in charge of giving names to birds, I would have named it a Robin Saffron Breast.
Gorgeous little thing.
Very good photo David, When a Robin appears Your loved one is near.
A very territorial bird .
‘And God said. ‘ Love each other’.
But fight to the death to protect your boundaries .
Maybe he's on the look out for cats...he's so cute.
Rainh.I have had three in my garden over the last few weeks and it is unusual that they seem friendly to each other, the blackbirds on the other hand are fighting all the time.
Pugnacious chaps indeed , and no wonder given their evolutionary antecedents were the T Rex and Velociraptor .
Pw. The small birds in my garden have no peace for the blackbirds, they are chasing them away from the food all the time.
