Very good photo for boxing day Dave. Everyone out having a walk, although tnere looks more than 6 people there!!

The dogs appear to be enjoying the walk too.

True Edna, the swans are looking bemused about it too, though some folks don't bother observing the rules, our next door neighbours included who had umpteen relatives/friends calling round yesterday - new year lockdown coming for sure.

Monochrome always seems to add sharpness to a photo.
Great PAD Dave.

Thanks Dave.

Thanks folks.
"Good old days" - The Bridgewater Canal starts in the centre of Leigh at the King St road bridge near the Waterside pub. Until then from Wigan it's "The Leeds & Liverpool Canal - Leigh Branch"

Comment by: Mortarmillbill on 26th December 2020 at 15:13

The Bridgewater Canal starts at Leigh bridge were the Leeds and Liverpool Leigh branch canal ends.

Comment by: Bruce Almighty on 26th December 2020 at 16:29

The 'Stretford / Leigh Branch' of the Bridgewater Canal connects with the 'Leigh Branch' of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Leigh Bridge (number 66), St.Helens Road.

Good one Dave. I think monochrome works well on your picture as it still does on many pictures even today. All the best for next year and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
