The old vets on Downall Green Road?
Ang yes it was the vets. Bad sign of the modern times when we need shops like this to give food away or sell it cheap to needy people. Are we in 2020 or 1820 ? Soup kitchens in the street next
Or even the 1920's and 30's . Something I never thought would be seen again in our affluent society. Even Supermarkets have big boxes on the way out for people to drop foodstuff in.
It was closed on the day I was there, but I stuck my nose up against the window and it didnt look like they had a very good selection of food
Perhaps part of the reason that these are around now is that many people do not seem to have the necessary life skills of being able to budget,shop or cook very well.Just saying....
