Apologies Veronica..I should have said your email address,it's a pity we haven't got the Private Message board on WW then I wouldn't have to interrupt P-A-D. xx

Sincere Condolences Maureen.

Veronica, it's close to the DW stadium, at one time a footpath from Scot Lane led to Woodhouse Lane, it was nicknamed as the Green Bridge..

Hi Maureen, i've not been on WW today so haven't seen your postings. They were drawn to my attention via a phone call, from a friend of mine, DerekB, who subscribes to Album etc.
Very sorry to hear about Cliff, please accept my deepest sympathy at this sad time.

Jean, my mother in law came from Ince. Her name before she married was Kay, and they lived in a shop across the road from what is now Cresta Motors. She had 2 sisters and a brother. They have all passed away now though. I have asked on her before, but to no avail. I wonder were I would start. Thanks x
