Veronica, it's close to the DW stadium, at one time a footpath from Scot Lane led to Woodhouse Lane, it was nicknamed as the Green Bridge..

Yes its down at the DW stadium when the Dougie was so high it was shaking the bridge when I ride over it.

Hi Maureen, i've not been on WW today so haven't seen your postings. They were drawn to my attention via a phone call, from a friend of mine, DerekB, who subscribes to Album etc.

Jean, my mother in law came from Ince.Her name before she married was Kay, and they lived in a shop across the road from what is now Cresta Motors.She had 2 sisters and a brother.They have all passed away now though. I have asked on her before, but to no avail. I wonder were I would start. Thanks x

there use to be a sewage works near the bridge bit of a stink .my dad worked there for awhile he used bring home tomatoes from there me mam said no way
