I would happily queue for the Muffin Man pies. They're gorgeous. To be honest, I'd queue for pies anywhere....I'm a true Wiganer where pies are concerned!

I suppose they will don their masks before setting foot over the threshold? Either that or no admittance...
If we weren't talking about Covid, we would be talking about obesity, which costs the NHS more money than Covid ever will. Who wants another cake?
PeterP up here in Shevy the residents are following the Government guides lines, which say wear the mask over the mouth and nose, which are on the front of normal folks heads.
Yes Irene the Muffin Man pies are the best in Wigan, I think they have copied the recipes of one of the Chorley Pie shops
Handy little shop, they do key cutting. shoe repairs, watch straps and batteries , suppose you could eat your pie, while waiting for your shoes????.
I think the Muffin Man pie recipe came from Thornleys in Chorley. They had good quality control. Disappeared about 30 years ago.
Ive just treated myself to a McRobbs of Chorley (the new Standish butchers) steak pie, that I will be having for my tea with some chips
