It's a mixture of happiness and sadness is that photo. It reminds me of something my Mam used to say...."All dressed up and nowhere to go"....a bit like us all at the moment!
Happen its for the best Dennis, anyway, its not the right kind of weather at the moment, mainly cold and damp certainly where we are. Not been to this area for more years than I can remember looks to be a better playground than I recall.
Depressing - but similar to what's NOT going on in our lives at present.
Everything on hold!
Waiting for the day when things become normal again.
Everything closed, its so daunting. Especially for children. Were is this?
Do, or did, children have to pay to use the facility or is it free?
I remember when the zoo was open and folks had to pay for each attraction and it was an expensive day out if you wanted to go around the zoo, the model village and the butterfly safari, why couldn't they have done a reduced entrance fee for all, I'd imagine it to be more of an expense to pay an employee to be at each entrance all day to check tickets to see if you'd paid to enter.
I often wish I'd written those sayings down Irene, another I liked was 'standing there like cheese at 4d.'
