A Summer's Evening
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-WX200)
I saw the CRT weed collector boat at top lock last week collecting that floating pennywort slimy stuff.
Aspull again your as bad as Mick.
Only kidding. Nice photo of a nice place.
Nice shot Dennis.
I’ll have to get a bike Arthur.
Beautiful Dennis, Walt will be pleased.
Lovely photo. Makes you think of that poem, "God's in his Heaven, all's right with the world", (well, in Aspull!).
I should imagine now would be the best time to clear the green slime...or is it? Anyway it looks picturesque.
Irene Aspull is spoiled by the traffic and the village is spread out to much to be classed as being a nice place to live.
I was up in Aspull yesterday looking for owd Rons grave, I looked and asked about him in St. Elizabeth and St David's graveyard but the people I asked didnt know of him.
Veronica it was September last year when I was stood watching them doing it.

Lovely for a nice peacefull walk after tea.Nice photo!
I bet that stank to 'mon's height' Mick.
Veronica, they’ve just shifted the stuff again and dumped it on the canal bank near the top lock...right across from Albion Bungalow. I don’t suppose the people who live there very happy about it.
"I looked and asked about him, but the people didn't know of him". Nicely Mick.
That is not Aspull, it's Haigh.
Stinks dont bother me Veronica, after living in Africa and the Far East, worse stink I ever come across was fermented stinky Torfu in China, but surprisingly it still tasted nice.
Gary, I'm keeping my head down, last time I commented I got it bitten off. Dennis, great photo like it very much.
