That tree on the left don't know why it's there, my friends don't know too, it reminds me of Shevington.

Comment by: Veronica on 10th July 2020 at 08:16

A lovely picture, fresh and green, and the horses seem to be enjoying themselves.

Comment by: DTease on 10th July 2020 at 08:36

Now,now Wiganer, play nicely.

Excellent photo Mick. And if I'd have been there, it would have been a case of over the fence for one complete lap, so as to savour the light and shade, and then settling down with a sketchbook in hand - a couple of horses, with backing ... less than an hour, I should think. And this is no abalone effect.

Wouldn't see this in Ince, If this was Shevington the grass would be greener, if the tree's wasn't there you could see our house.

Lovely photo. The horses look happy and content. I like the contrast of sunshine and shade.

Mick, gradely photo is that -- Well Done !!

Comment by: Veronica on 10th July 2020 at 10:10

But can we be sure this isn't Shevvy, the grass always seems greener on the other side...

Comment by: Mick on 10th July 2020 at 10:56

Wiganer that tree on the left been there for years, I couldnt get it out of my snap because I was stood right on the edge of the canal when I took it.
Shevy is about 1 1/2 mile away if you come by Gathurst lane and the canal tow path, but if you come as the crow flies, across the golf links and railway line it will be about 3/4 of a mile I should imagine

John B our house is behind me

Comment by: Mick on 10th July 2020 at 10:58

Veronica have you counted the horses ?

Comment by: DTease on 10th July 2020 at 11:06

John B, there’ll be the stamping of little feet before bedtime if you keep this up mark my words.

Comment by: Edna on 10th July 2020 at 11:55

Lovely photo this.Peace and tranquility.

Comment by: Veronica on 10th July 2020 at 12:47

My poor shortsighted eyes tell me there could be ten horses Mick, or there's 1 horse with 2 tails and 8 legs!

Comment by: Mick on 10th July 2020 at 15:47

TEASY WEASY my feet are size 10 and regular viewers of WiganWorld Pads will know that my feet never do any stamping, but what the regular viewers will see is you trying to make a little gang up of some other big softies like your soft self.
Yes Veronica you have found the 8 legged one.

Comment by: DTease on 10th July 2020 at 16:38

See John B, I told you!

Comment by: Janine on 10th July 2020 at 18:08

Not only stamping little feet will be shaking little fist as well !!

Comment by: . Ozy . on 10th July 2020 at 19:02

Calm down Mick. Whatever happened to your sense of humour owd lad? DTease is just pulling your leg ffs. I would have thought you'd have sussed that some time ago.
Chill out pal and try not to alienate the ones that are still in your corner eh?
In the meantime, go steady, and most importantly, keep your elbows in on those bad bends dropping down into Crooke.
Just a little bit of unsolicited advice from a mate ( hopefully ) Ozy.
I shall now retire to my Anderson shelter, flask, gas mask and Porta Potti in hand to await a response.
.....tee hee! Oh what fun...

Comment by: DTease on 10th July 2020 at 22:05

Sounds like you’ve got all the luxuries in there Ozy. Flask, en suite porta potti, I would not be surprised if you’ve crowbarred the Aga in there.
I imagine social distancing as already gone by the board though.
I feel a bit guilty asking Ozy but, where to you store your washing in such a confined space? I mean, where do you store your Washer ready undercrackers in an Air Raid Shelter? I have no doubt but that you have solved the problem in some novel and innovative fashion. I would be interested to know as it looks like we may all be living in Air Raid Shelters before much longer.

Comment by: Mick on 10th July 2020 at 22:07

OK Ozy, but I know there is more to it than a bit of humour, but its no problem for me.

Comment by: John B on 10th July 2020 at 23:28

My work is done, he's stamping, dummy is out as well :)

Comment by: Wiganer on 11th July 2020 at 05:44

Oh NO who woke him up ?? more stupid comments now ekkkkkk

Comment by: Veronica on 11th July 2020 at 09:26

I imagine Ozy has a flag pole for hanging his drawers on Dtease. So there'll be no need for social distancing..;o))

Comment by: DTease on 11th July 2020 at 11:22

Be handy that Veronica, just run ‘em up the flagpole and give ‘em a good airing. Mind you, if Ozy’s preference in drawers is of the more exotic style it may send out the wrong signal....in more ways than one!
