New Apartments
apartments ??? looks more like a factory or even a prison.
Not for me, no character, looks like a prison camp.
I wouldn't want to call that home. Where are we going with new buildings today...why, in many places with little space.
Next they be building on the railway line.
Resembles an east European prison.
Just Horrible
Used to be called gerry built houses may last about 20 years
They look OK to me but I's be worried more about rats with being close to the canal.
Not keen at all.. 'boxes made of ticky tack'. Nothing well designed about them, who would buy them?
No vision at all.
Stalag Luft P.
Horrible, tasteless, classless.
Who would want to rent them Veronica!
Cheap and affordable housing needs to be built , particularly on brown field sites. If I was one and twenty I'd love one of these. They may be quite nice when they're finished and the location looks pleasant.
Reminds me of 'the worn-out jeans with the ill-made zip' that I'd worn on dusky nights of yore; they were ok for mooching yet inefficient once the can had been kicked.
They look like they are not finished, the roof needs putting on... Not keen on buildings with a flat roof.
I like to find something nice to say about every photo-a-day but this one has beaten me! It's not the photographer I am criticising, but the building. It looks like it's been designed and built out of Lego by a five-year-old who got fed-up after a bit and left it to do something else. My little house was built 120 years ago and looks better than this. Progress? I don't think so!
If you break wind in one of those the whole block will know about it.
Wot no chimbleys?
Plot 1, is on sale now for £295,000.
"Comprising of eight contemporary townhouses including roof terraces, canalside back gardens and allocated allotment spaces, Waterside Gardens boasts an appealing mix of heritage, style and contemporary dwellings fit for the future. Built with sustainability and community living in mind, these highly desirable, attractive and spacious homes command excellent views."
Obviously not finished yet, but I hope they are going to put a proper roof on it. I say that because here in MK a lot of houses and flat had a flat roof and they have caused a lot of persistant and serious problems.
They look as if the architect designed them quickly, during his tea break !
I think they look lovely and clean, and they are only a short walk from the railway station, so the yuppy type residents can work in the near by towns and citys
By keeping the prices to around £295,000. they are making sure that they only attract tenants who have decent jobs and can afford them, unlike the flats on the other side of Trencherfield mill that one of the low life residents set fire to while having a barbecue on the roof
The self contained apartments being lifted into place a few weeks ago.

Hutches for keeping two bob millionaires in.
NO...NEVER...£295,000 for a prefab????????????
They are houses not apartments. They will be finished with a brick skin and apexed roofing. Why would a "tenant" pay £295,000, surely you mean owner.
Update - None appear to be occupied, all standing empty.
4 of the 8 are still listed for sale with R&H, at £224,000.
