This is a cracker Dave , so much close up detail and if you entered it in a competition it might win something.
But at the end of the day its not saying Wigan to me , and thats not because its a Mute Swan

Superb exposure, pin sharp, well up to your usual very high standards Mr Oy.

Another great photo, Dave.

Well done.

Swan looks like she's making sail. Unloose the mizzen top gallant , unfurl the flying jib! A wonderful action photograph.

Comment by: Mick on 16th June 2020 at 17:37

Dave Im glad you are recovering, you was very lucky.

Comment by: Arthur on 16th June 2020 at 19:43

It would have looked much better on the old format. This new format is like the old 110 film compared to the later 35mm.

Comment by: E Mc on 16th June 2020 at 23:18

Very good photo.Although I agree with Arthur.Too many adverts distracting now.

Comment by: Arthur on 17th June 2020 at 05:34

At 19.43, that is not the Arthur that usually makes comments on photo a day. Someone impersonating me. How sad.

The font's a font for all seasons, though on pages all too-spacious - the prized fish that slips back into the water. But then, Brian knows very, very much more on the complexities of design than do I.

Comment by: Arthur on 17th June 2020 at 09:00

Arthur at 05.34, I would hardly consider using the name I have had for over 65 years as impersonating someone. As I rarely read the comments I didn't realise there was another Arthur.

Comment by: Arthur on 17th June 2020 at 16:15

History show that only me and ArthurP comments on here with that name. By the way there's nothing wrong with this new pad and ww.
