Signs of our times for sure , but the spirit of the times also .
I've spotted a few of these little beacons of hope, left by local children all around the Standish countryside.
When we look back , from the safety of better days , I can imagine images like this will send shivers down the spine.

It seems to be a trend that's going on at the moment. In the woodlands where I walk, I have come across small pebbles, painted by children, they are hidden in the undergrowth....I suppose it keeps them occupied. People are finding their creative side, it can only be a good sign...
Did you take one and rehide it?
They are lovely and I'm sure will bring pleasure to passers-by.
There were many more on the bench when I passed just now - I don't think folks round here have the idea that you relocate them... unless they've all been brought here from other spots.
Rev maybe the bench is the starting off locations for them.
