Photo-a-Day (Friday, 17th April, 2020)
Gidlow Lane Junction
Your white bits give respite, Mick, and, in a funny kind of way, restraint from your foreground bit. Woah!
What a lovely sunny day. That's my normal route to mind my grandchildren three days a week after school which came to a sudden end when the schools closed due to the virus. I miss them so much.
Not seen that for 50 years. Still familiar.
I see the post box is still there despite the post office closing.
This is a familiar area, used to go out pub crawling at the weekend an walk (stagger) home to Dawson Ave. But first call at the chippie up the hill there on the corner of Throstle nest Rd ( I think). What a life Eh!
Its usually a lot cloudier and busier than what it is on the photo
Mick - I'd just assumed the pic had been photoshopped to give us the blue sky.
Rev I thinks its because there's not as much pollution during the lock down.
Gidlow Lane doesn't look like as much of a hill as it used to feel like on a bicycle.
