Thrilling, trilling robin
Photo: David Long (Sony SLT-A65V)
Looks like he is saying "What, me ?)
A well focused picture David.
Hail Robin! So called lesser being!
Singing like an angel for a worm!
Teach us thy dignity as we battle
Over pasta sauce.
The Robin singing, buds on the trees, what more do we want.
It's late, but just one more glass of sherry before bed, cheers.
Rev was you relieving yourself again in the hermitage bushes when you spotted this Robin, like you was on 9 March PAD.
Reminds me I must get some seed - I bet there's loads of it on the shelves.
Lovely little bird announcing to the world that alls well with him!
Birds only need seed in Winter time, this time of year and throughout Summer, they should fend for themselves. In other words, keeping insects at bay.
I know Arthur but I like them coming in the garden... It's for the tiny birds not the big ones...the ones who nest In a big tree at the bottom of my garden.
Nice picture Rev, probably more garden pics for the upcoming weeks. Our hedgehogs returned last night, ironic or what !! Keep well.
Defiant was he of rusty plate,
As cruel pikes laid siege to all within.
Then soon, beyond his guarded door,
The turning heels of fading, fair retreat …
In such esteem was he then held.
Always nice to see a good Billy Bobbin photo :)
That's the way to write 'em Philip. Five liners of noble meter and diction. Splendid.
Thanks Poet. I look forward to your next.
