Well Rev Long, no comments on this photo yet...wonder what will go up in its place ? Something bright, square & glassy perhaps ?

I am reminded of a stay at a pub on the Military Road by Hadrian's Wall where the loo in the room had a plain glass window.
Being on the upper floor and in the middle of nowhere , I didn't consider this a problem until a once in a blue moon double decker bus pulled up at the stop immediately outside.
I sat mortified as the windows of the bus crept slowly by then come to a juddering halt.
Fortunately due to the gentlemanly pursuit of reading the paper during the show and The Times then being a broadsheet , I was able to raise it high like a shield thus sparing my blushes though not alas, the joy of the unsuspecting traveller enjoying the delightful views along the way.

You mis-understood me darling; I'll always love you. Now take that flaming machine back to where you'd found it, and then come back home, … and it is the 14th, remember.

Hope you don't mind, David.

You could say you had met your very own Waterloo Poet!
It looks like a 'modern' building (60's)being pulled down ....that's a nice change....
