The building looks like a cardboard cut out
My first dentist Mr Whalley practised from here many years ago. I am not a fan of dentists but he was much better than that lot in the clinic in Millgate.
When I first looked at the picture I thought maybe it came to a sharp angle on the left hand side ? An odd thing but they used to build in whatever space they had when the house was built.
Used to come here with my best friend as children for her treatment. I had to do with the school dentists on Millgate..
I used to go to Mr Whalley, who was the dentist here. Someone told me that he shot himself. He was a good dentist.
It reminds me of butcher Brown, one of the school dentists way back in the forties and fifties
Opposite side of Woolies down the road . I still have nightmares of my dental treatment there . That gas and waking half up hearing him yanking on my teeth . Then getting on the bus home with a mouth feeling like jelly
I needed braces so it was six teeth out at once . I still fear the dentist to this day due to that experience .
