Dave does your dalek follow you everywhere?

Comment by: Anne on 10th January 2020 at 08:35

Thought it was a fair organ at first glance but obviously not. Very colourful well snapped picture.
Went for a meal with friends several weeks ago just to try, won't be going again.

I feel like I've got a New Year's Day hangover just looking at it!

Is that the shadow of an alien next to the photographer?
Come to think of it, I saw a UFO over Billinge lump on New Years Eve .

Looks like a headless stalker at the side of David....

Thanks for the kind words Anne. Should have stood in front of my dalek to bring the shadows together. Please excuse my amateurism.

Still a good picture, full of colour and the shadows make a good talking point... Very arty, it looks to me as if ghosts have dropped by to take a peep...

To be honest I can't quite fathom what this contraption is all about!
What precisely is it that you DO after you've ' entered this way '?

Comment by: David 2 on 11th January 2020 at 10:15

Poet, the contraption is a platform with eighteen seats. The platform is then rotated in both directions and at varying speeds for the merriment of all. Not sure that this would be providing too much merriment though for Albert’s neighbours in the nearby houses through the early hours of New Years Day.

Thanks David for your kind reply. What happened to a jovial refrain of Auld Lang Syne.
