I really like the new bus station and feel quite proud when the bus pulls into it. It's just a pity people use it to go out of town rather than coming into town because our shops and town centre are fast disappearing. I never need to use the bus station at night but I had occasion to use the old one a couple of times at night and I felt unsafe...I would feel much safer in this one should I have need to use it.
this is the first time I have seen the new bus station. it looks very nice and clean
I find, if coming on the bus to Wigan, most people drop off in Library St, it seems a trail going around to the bus station. Same after shopping when the bus stop is more convenient on Crawford St or Mesnes St. Having said that the bus station is kept vey clean and a lot better than the 'old' one.
