Our Lady and All Saints
Never been inside, but when the sun shines through the rose window, I imagine it's just as spectacular as Notre Dame in Paris.
Nice one!
Lovely photo, and the trees make a lovely frame.
Notre Dame burned down, but I take your point.
Lovely photo Mick.
The sun is shining on notre dame but there's no windows or walls in it, it burned down early this year.
Been in this church and it is very nice.
A miracle must have happened at Norte Dame cathedral. All walls are standing as are the three stained glass windows.
This photo would do well as the title page for the parish magazine.
Veronica. You can see the interior on their website.

3 Rose Windows were saved from the fire - along with the great organ. Notre Dame came to the rescue!
The main structure was saved - the wooden spire was destroyed and also the roof. It will be rebuilt. It was absolutely beautiful inside and will be again.
There is a Notre Dame Convent in Parbold, isn't there?
Thanks Cyril I looked at the inside of the church - it's beautiful. I love the old churches and its in a lovely spot.
Exactly! Veronica. Where the first posting by Anne gets her information from is beyond me. I hope no one thinks it is from the second Anne who posted, I get my facts right. As I said it must be a miracle if the walls had been burned down but are now standing.
I thought so Anne...! ( the usual Anne)
It'll be nothing short of another miracle if we ever get to figure out which Anne is which.....Wimmin !
