Gathurst Bridge Reflection
The original M62.
Fantastic shot, Terence.
Worth a calendar anytime.
Gosh... which way is up?
Great picture.
That's a lovely photo.
So sharp and clear, the reflection looks like a mirror image - it's uncanny...
Usually you can 'separate'the reflection but not in this photo. Brilliant!
Great photo. Well done.
Mirror image in reality..brilliant shot Terence.
The bungalow behind the boat was sold months ago but nobody is living in yet
mick can;t you comment on the fantastic photo .or are you just jealous that its not one of yours.brilliant photo terence
I remember sitting beside bridge No.46 and watching a Coal Tit as it flitted in and out of the small opening just above the singular dark stone of the bridge's light brown area of wall.
A nice, pleasing photo.
Thank you ,everyone, for your kind comments to my first ever submission to picture of the day.
Lovely pic, only ever seen one more with a such a great mirror image and that was at Rydal Water.
Bungalow still as the Sold sign up this afternoon but still nobody living in it
Thank you Terence,we look forward to more of your pics.
Terry , given that I didn't arrive in this country last week courtesy of an inflatable mattress from cap Gris Nez to Hastings, I have an uncomfortable feeling that there may be something of a wind up involved here. Perhaps you could reassure me.
Yawn ozy!
No Fred Im never jealous that its not one of my photos, and because I actually get out and about I know that area very well, so I see plenty of nice reflections in the canal.
A photo to me is not something that I look at and think hee by gum thats a good un. Im more interested in what it reminds me of and like I said the bungalow is now sold,I also should have said the whole of the valley area stinks of stale poppadoms if you go down there first thing in a morning
And Im also not bothered one tiny bit if there are any comments at all on the photos that I have taken and sent in
Is there something strange about the grass on the left hand side Ozy ?
It must be bedtime - yon mon's yawning again.....perhaps a sock would help.
Well done Alan, you've managed to spell the the word yawn correctly.
Just one minor thing though, I do tend to spell Ozy with an upper case ' O ' .
Don't be discouraged though, I feel confident that you're making progress.
Regards,.. ' O ' zy.
Nowt worse than senile old men trying to be charming or funny....get back to your allotments...be gone.
