Veronica, My apologies for suggesting a framed watercolour of various Owl eggs (PaD 18th). I've since discovered that there isn't much difference in those of our native owls; And there's hardly any pattern on them.
I must get my facts right.
But the Song Thrush's egg, . . . Ah!

Thrush eggs yes - speckled with bluish overtones if I'm correct....
