A nice scene Ron. Thanks.
I like the arrowed wake, and the central area's 'building with lead-up beside three trees', but oh the tethered 'boat'.
When you see beautiful photos like this, and many others posted on PAD, it’s difficult to believe that Wigan was once a town famous for cotton mills and coal mines.
Great photo!
What a lovely serene shot Ron. Thank you.
I was up there yesterday afternoon stood next to the toffee shop boat and coudnt help thinking how much nicer the area would be if they cleaned out all the rubbish and weeds from both sides of the hump back bridge.
It wouldnt be left like that if it was in Henley on Thames.
A wonderful photo,, thank you Rom .
If this was a painting I would give it the title 'The Lonely Duck'.....
That's beautiful. The foliage hanging down frames it perfectly.
Great shot,a lovely scene, walk past here regularly.
