Crawfords Wood
Despite the obvious changes around Haigh Hall with the Bouncing Bomb Lights, the chopping down of Rhododendrons, the moving on of 'pilgrims' sitting on the lawns- minding their own business, gates not in keeping , and the ultimate in interior design disaster, not forgetting the realignment of paths around Wigan's own Haigh Hall, surely the blessed woods will not be interfered with? Or will they? Still lets go forwards and on with the Motley.......
I love this scene..it does me good just to look at it..thank you Harry.
Sorry should read Crawford's Wood.
Fine photo - atmospheric. Has a bit of the Cottingley faeries about it.
Very peaceful scene..just right for walking hand in hand...
Really lovely,nature at it's best.
Beautiful.
A cosy archway, without the need for laburnum, Harry.
